Ai-Da is the world's first ultra-realistic AI robot artist. As a machine, with AI capabilities, her artist persona IS the artwork, along with her drawings, performance art and collaborative paintings and sculptures. Ai-Da is the vision of gallery director Aidan Meller, and develops the conversation of what an artist is and pushes our understanding of this into complex areas. She produces drawings and performances like many artists of today, but she is also the art herself, highlighting tensions of trans-humanism, biotechnological advances and how we will come to redefine our views on creativity.
